bismillah

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُلْهِكُمْ أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَلِكَ فَأُوْلَئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ

Ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo la tul hikum amwalukum wala awladukum AAan thikri Allahi waman yafAAal thalika faolaika humu alkhasiroon(a)

O’ you who believe: Let not your riches or your children divert you from Allah-SWT's Zikr. And whoso does that, verily they are the losers.

(63:9)

وَأَنفِقُوا مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَى أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

Waanfiqoo min ma razaqnakum min qabli an yatiya ahadakumu almawtu fayaqoola rabbi lawla akhkhartanee ila ajalin qareebin faassaddaqa waakun mina a(l)ssaliheen(a)

And spend of that with which We-SWT have provided you before death comes to one of you and he says: Rabb-SWT : Would You-SWT not respite me for a short time, so that I would spend in charity and become of the righteous.

(63:10)

وَلَن يُؤَخِّرَ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِذَا جَاء أَجَلُهَا وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ

Walan yuakhkhira Allahu nafsan itha jaa ajaluha wa(A)llahu khabeerun bima taAAmaloon(a)

And Allaah-SWT does not respite a soul when its term has arrived, and Allaah-SWT is Aware of what you do.

(63:11)

SECRETS OF REVELATION:

O’believers! Your lawful worldly pursuits for earning livelihood and the raising of children and genuine concern for their betterment should not preoccupy you to the extent that you neglect Allah-SWT ’s Zikr.

 

Zikr Allah-SWT

All worships and the ways of life specified by Shari'ah are included in practical Zikr. Recitation of the Quran and hymning His-SWT Praises are Zikr-e-Lisani. The benefits of Zikr are expected to be achieved to the fullest extent only when Allaah-SWT blesses someone with Zikr-e-Qalbi and his Qalb is initiated. Zikr-e-Qalbi facilitates deep devotion to Shari'ah and Jihad. A person who neglects Zikr because of his worldly pursuits suffers an exorbitant loss. In addition to the irredeemable setback in the Akhirah, Allaah-SWT also revokes Barakah from his temporal life. So spend what Allaah-SWT has given you in the form of energy, affluence, influence and authority, to spread and practically enforce Islam. Do it before the moment of death which shall reveal to you the other world, whence you would regretfully plead for little more time, so that you could sacrifice your energy and money in His Way to please Him-SWT .

 

Longing of the last Moment

The Angels are also visible during the very last moments of life. Quran recounts the conversation between the angels and the dying person. Akhirah also unveils to drive home the imprudence in compromising with oppression and infidelity to save ones life and wealth. In those very moments one ruefully pleads with Allaah-SWT for a second chance and a little more time, so that he may spend all his resources to serve His-SWT Din, and be among His-SWT bondmen. But when the destined moment comes, there is no extension as it is Allah-SWT's predetermined system, which does not change. In any case whatever has been done by the people is before Him-SWT .
